Business Dev. Coordinator

1. Purpose
The role will primarily support the global business development activities of the SkillsVX business; additionally this will involve supporting the businesses leadership with administrative support.

2. Key Responsibilities
 Ownership of the Business Development processes and tools across the business
 Co-ordination of global BD and marketing efforts
 Preparation of Sales/Marketing materials (as necessary)
 Managing the company website/social media channels
 Ownership of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) processes and tools
 Co-ordinating the compilation of tender documents
 Representing the SkillsVX business at industry forums/conferences and building a strong external network
 Supporting activities such as long term planning, business strategy and reporting

3. Key Internal & External Interfaces
– Working closely with senior management and international business development personnel
– Building relationships with potential clients to facilitate the introduction of SkillsVX senior personnel
– Representing SkillsVX at external forums across the O&G industry
– Working closely with BD professionals from other parts of Petrofac/PTS and particularly Oilennium
– Build relationships with the implementation/development teams to ensure sound understanding of the product and future development plans

4. Dimensions (Financial, Supervisory, Other eg. Complexity & Key Exposures)
– Financial: Awareness of the financial implications of for BD/marketing activities – Supervisory: None
– Strategic: Ownership of the CRM and input into the strategic planning process

5. Knowledge, Skills & Experience expected
– Highly developed interpersonal skills and comfortable in social environments
– Ideally knowledge/understanding of the Oil and Gas industry and the role of competence
– Reasonable business acumen and commercial awareness
– Highly motivated and able to work independently with little supervision
– Excellent presentation skills, will be expected to author documents to the highest standard in English –

6. Minimum Qualifications required
– Fluent written and spoken English
– Ideally degree qualified in a business/marketing related field
– Able to build strong relationships with potential/existing clients
– Highly organized and motivated

7. Other Comments (eg. Offshore / Rotator / Frequent Business Traveller )
– Will require international travel at times.
